STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Football legend Bob Fenimore died Wednesday at the age of 84, following a battle with cancer.

Fenimore played for Oklahoma State, which was then known as Oklahoma A&M, from 1943-46. He was named All-American in both 1944 and 1945 and helped establish many records--including the career interception mark of 18, which has yet to be broken at OSU.

The football great was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1972 and the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame in 2007.

Services for Fenimore is tentatively scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater.
