ROUND ROCK, Texas -- Jarrod Saltalamacchia scored the game winning run in the 12th inning as the Oklahoma City RedHawks rallied for a 7-6 extra-inning victory over Round Rock Thursday.
Ryan Garko singled into right to drive in the winning run in the top of the 12th. He also hit a solo home run in the top of the sixth to give Oklahoma City a 3-1 advantage.
Round Rock scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a 6-3 lead. Matt Kata drove in two runs and scored another in the inning.
Gregorio Pettit and hit a two-run single in the top of the eighth to bring the RedHawks within one run. Oklahoma City would tally another in the ninth to tie the game 6-6 and force extra innings.
Warner Madrigal (2-0) earned the victory after pitching a scoreless 11th.
Jonah Bayliss (1-3) gave up one run in two innings and was tagged with the loss.
The two teams continue their series at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
