OKLAHOMA CITY -- A source confirmed to sports director Dean Blevins that members of the Thunder front office met with superstar Kevin Durant moments after the Free Agency Period began at 11 p.m. Wednesday night.
Seconds after being allowed to meet with players, Oklahoma City executives visited the young star’s home in Oklahoma City.
The goal is to sign Durant to the maximum contract available, five years and more than $80 million.
Most experts believe that the two parties will come to an agreement that will secure the reigning NBA scoring champion’s services through the 2015-2016 season.
