TULSA, Oklahoma -- Former Tulsa running back Charles Opeseyitan was arrested Sunday night after forcing his way into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.

He has been booked on charges of domestic abuse and battery, breaking and entering and malicious injury to property.

The football program announced Monday that the junior running back had been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules. The 5-foot-10 running back from Allen, Texas, played in 23 games for the Golden Hurricane, gaining 573 yards and four touchdowns in two years.
