STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- A July trial has been scheduled to determine whether a protective order will be enforced against Oklahoma State basketball player Matt Pilgrim.
Pilgrim appeared in a Stillwater courtroom with his attorney on Thursday.
Payne County Special Judge Phillip Corley extended a temporary protective order granted to an OSU student who accused Pilgrim of sexually assaulting her in a campus dormitory. It will now run until the start of the trial, scheduled for July 8. He was initially served with the protective order on May 3.
Pilgrim does not face any criminal charges.
Both Pilgrim and his attorney, Willie Baker, declined comment after the brief hearing that did not include arguments.
Pilgrim started 13 games at forward for the Cowboys last season, averaging 8.2 points and 6.7 rebounds.
