NORMAN, Oklahoma -- As part of an ongoing investigation into NCAA violations, the University of Oklahoma has shared phone records with members of the NCAA’s enforcement staff that were identified by the OU Compliance Department.
The records contain calls that were made by former Sooner assistant coach Oronde Taliferro to a Merrill Lynch representative in Tampa, Fla. The calls themselves are not an NCAA violation, but the matters discussed within are still under review.
The review is being conducted jointly by the OU Compliance staff and the NCAA and is still ongoing.
