PHOENIX -- The Tulsa Talons finished with their first loss of the season Friday, after the Arizona Rattlers inched by with one point to claim the victory.
Tulsa (2-1) quarterback Justin Allgood completed 29-of-40 passes, finishing with 150 yards. He threw for 10 touchdowns and one interception. His receiver, Donovan Morgan, had nine receptions for 128 yards. Carlese Franklin caught 10 passes, racking up 121 yards and two touchdowns.
On the Talons’ defense, BJ Barre finished with one tackle and one interception.
The Rattlers (2-1) earned their first home-game win of the season after quarterback Nick Davila completed 30 of his 42 passes, finishing with a season-high 413 yards. He threw for eight Rattlers touchdowns. Wide receiver Rod Windsor caught six of the eight touchdown passes from Davila.
The Talons will face the Jacksonville Sharks May 1 at 7:05 p.m.
