OKLAHOMA CITY – Tickets for the Oklahoma City Thunder’s first two playoff home games went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and were sold out by 10:25.

Vice President of Community Relations Dan Mahoney said a total of about 2,000 tickets were sold for each of the first two games, and the majority of the tickets were sold online. Fans also lined up outside the Ford Center early Friday morning to enter a raffle that determined the order of the line.

“We are humbled by the response from our fans,” Thunder senior vice president Brian Byrnes said in a press release. “There is a high level of excitement and passion in the community for the team, and it’s wonderful to be a part of it.”

All is not lost for fans still hoping to attend the first two games. A handful of tickets will be made available at the Ford Center two hours before tip-off of each game. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fans can visit thunder.nba.com and sign up to be notified whenever additional tickets are made available. Also, as the Thunder did for every regular season home game, 200 tickets will be available for raffle and sale through the Fill Up the Ford promotion. Two hours before each of the home playoff games begins (6:30 p.m), 25 pairs of Loud City tickets will be put up for raffle, while 75 other pairs will be sold.

The first playoff game in Oklahoma City will be played at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22. The second game will come at 8:30 p.m. two days later. If the series continues to a sixth game, that will be played in OKC on Friday, April 30. The time for that contest has yet to be announced.
