OU’s Cloman Returns to Hometown
Freshman guard Lyndsay Cloman returned to her hometown, as her team, the Oklahoma Sooners, prepare to take on Stanford in the Final Four.

SAN ANTONIO -- When Oklahoma Sooners (27-10) beat Kentucky to advance to the Final Four in San Antonio, guard Lyndsey Cloman was especially excited.
Cloman attended Taft High School in San Antonio, where her family still lives. The opportunity to play in front of her friends and family in the Alamodome is something she said she’ll never forget.
“There are no words to describe how I feel right now,” Cloman said. “To be in the Final Four in my hometown, it’s amazing.
“It’s an amazing feeling.”
She was giving the opportunity to go home Friday for a family visit.
“I haven’t seen anyone since Christmas,” Cloman said. “It’s been like a little reunion.”
Her parents and friends watched as the team practiced Saturday. Lyndsey Cloman’s father, Derrick Cloman, said they’ve received several calls and text messages from her fans.
“It’s almost like hitting the lottery, you’re getting calls from everybody,” Derrick Cloman said.
“Everybody is so proud of her and happy for her.”The Sooners will tip-off against the Stanford Cardinal Sunday at 6 p.m.
