NEW YORK -- The Cowgirls' Andrea Riley and the Sooners' Amanda Thompson have been invited to the 2010 WNBA Draft on April 8. They are two of 14 prospects invited to draft in Secaucus, N.J.
Riley was the nation's second-leading scorer at 26.7 points per game and led the Big 12 in assists at 6.5 per contest. The Oklahoma State guard was also a second-team Associated Press All-American.
Thompson averaged a double-double with 14.5 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per contest for Oklahoma.
The Connecticut Sun have the No. 1 pick in the draft followed by the Minnesota Lynx, who have picks No. 2 and No. 3. The first round will begin at 2 p.m.
