SPRINGFIELD, Missouri -- Oral Roberts had its season come to an end with a 75-53 loss to Missouri State in the opening round of the WNIT. The Golden Eagles finish with a 23-10 overall record.
Missouri State (21-10) outscored the Golden Eagles 41-19 over the final 10:27 to cruise to the victory. ORU scored a season-low 53 points and turned the ball over 30 times.
Jaci Bigham and Kevi Luper each scored 13 points for the Golden Eagles.
Niether team shot well in the first half. The Golden Eagles went 23 percent (6-of-26) from the floor, while Missouri State connected on just 17 percent (7-of-41) of its shots.
The Lady Bears heated up in the second half, shooting 47 percent from the field.
Casey Garrison had a game-high 26 points including going 4-of-4 from 3-point range for the Lady Bears.
