TULSA, Oklahoma – The Tulsa Oilers won their home finale over the Missouri Mavericks 3-2 in a shootout.

Tulsa started things off with a Jake Riddle shorthanded goal at the 17:55 mark of the first period. Missouri would respond later in the period when Jeff MacDermid put one in net.

After Luke Stauffacher scored the only goal in the second period to put the Oilers ahead 2-1, Missouri’s Mike Burgoyne tied things up midway through the third.

Neither team was able to score in overtime, but the Oilers grabbed the victory by winning the shootout 2-0.

Tulsa returns to action on Wednesday for a 11:05 a.m. game at Amarillo.
