TULSA, Oklahoma – The Tulsa Oilers fell to Rapid City for the fourth time this season with a 3-0 loss on Friday night.
The Rush jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period with a goal by Scott Wray and a powerplay goal by Derek LeBlanc.
After a scoreless second period, Wray wrapped up the scoring in the third period by scoring an empty net goal with four seconds remaining.
Danny Battochio made 34 saves and picked up the victory, while Marty Magers made 31 saves and took the loss.
The Oilers return to the ice tomorrow night when they take on Missouri in their final home contest of the season.
