TULSA, Oklahoma -- Warren Niles' layup with eight seconds to go proved to be deciding factor in Oral Roberts 61-60 victory over IUPUI. Leroy Nobles missed a last-second jumper that would have given the Jaguars the game.
Michael Craion had 17 points for the Golden Eagles and Niles chipped-in 12.
Neither team led by more seven points in the second half. IUPUI took a 58-52 lead with 3:56 left in the game. Craion’s layup gave the Golden Eagles a 59-58 lead with 29 seconds left to cap a 7-0 run.
IUPUI closed out the first half on an 8-3 spurt to take a 31-24 lead into halftime. ORU led 13-9 but the Jaguars were not down long, coming back to tie the contest at 15.
Glenn finished with a game-high 28 points for the Jaguars.
