STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Big 12 scoring leader James Anderson was expected to return to Oklahoma State's practice Thursday after taking an extra day to recover from injuries to his head and thigh sustained earlier this week.
Coach Travis Ford says he didn't think Anderson "was feeling 100 percent" on Wednesday and held him out of practice. A team trainer says Anderson did not have any post-concussion symptoms after taking a hard fall in the second half of the Cowboys' 62-57 overtime loss to the Sooners on Monday night but he also was dealing with a sore thigh.
Ford said Thursday he believes Anderson is back to full strength.
Starting forward Marshall Moses and reserve Jarred Shaw also missed Wednesday's practice due to illness.
The Cowboys play at No. 22 Baylor on Saturday.
