What you need to know?
The Cowboys are coming off of a 29-point dismantling of then-No. 22 Texas Tech and are riding high. OSU has played solid all season save for two blips; a shocking loss at Rhode Island and a six-point loss to Tulsa on the road. Oklahoma State is averaging only 11 turnovers per game, the least in the conference, and must continue to take care of the ball if they want to stay on it’s roll.

Oklahoma is coming off a 31-point loss to Baylor, the first time the Sooners have lost to the Bears since 1977 and one of the worst loses in recent memory. The Sooners rebounded strong after a poor showing at the Great Alaska Shootout, but have lost three-of-four games since the All-College Classic in Oklahoma City. If OU wants to turn their season around, it needs to start now, before it’s too late.

Who you need to watch?
At the start of the year, James Anderson was slated by many to be a late first-round pick. So far this year, he is doing his best to improve that standing by leading the Big 12 in scoring, averaging 21.9 points per game, and riding a streak of 29-straight double-doubles. Marshall Moses is fourth in the conference in rebounding, averaging 9.5 boards per game, but draws the toughest matchup of the night, Tiny Gallon. The forward gives up two inches and 56 pounds to the massive Sooner freshman.

When Blake Griffin left, it was no question that it would be Willie Warren’s team this season, and the sophomore guard is doing his best to pick up the mantle. Warren is averaging 17.8 points per game this season, an improvement from his scoring a season ago, while boasting a respectable 1.14 assist/turnover ratio. Despite his dominating size, Gallon may have problems keeping up with the much quicker post man from Oklahoma State.
