Oklahoma cornerback Dominique Franks will enter the NFL Draft, opting to forgo his senior season.
“We wish Dom all the best and I hope at some point that he’ll also be back to complete his degree,” head coach Bob Stoops said in a release.
In 39 career games with the Sooners, Franks recorded 60 tackles and six interceptions. A native of Tulsa, Franks scored three career touchdowns, two on interceptions and one on a fumble return.
Franks started all 12 games for the Sooners last season, compiling 42 tackles and two interceptions. He was second on the team in both punt return (187 yards) and kick return yardage (135).
Franks was named an All-Big 12 player by the conference's coaches.
