Landry’s Hometown Excited about Sun Bowl

El Paso, Texas is a bit of a hike from Norman, Oklahoma. Artesia, New Mexico isn’t exactly close either, but people from both locales are making this week.

University of Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones does his gunslinging in Norman now, but the people from that small New Mexico town vividly remember the days when the young, mustache-less quarterback was a high school star.

Oklahoma Sports mobile journalist Steve McGehee paid a visit to Landry Jones’s hometown.
