Oklahoma City -- On Friday, Dec. 18, prior to the start of the Thunder vs. Pistons game, Kimberlan Alley from Choctaw, Okla. was announced as the one millionth fan to enter the Ford Center. Her husband Chuck Alley and grandsons, Kyler, 5, and Konner, 4, accompanied her.
"My gosh, I'm overwhelmed. This is our first time bringing our grandkids. This is awesome,” said Alley when she was given the news.
The Alleys are Oklahoma natives and both work at Tinker Air Force Base. In addition, they are second year season ticket members in Section 326 and attend games regularly, rarely missing one. This was the first time they have brought their grandchildren to a Thunder game.
The exclusive Thunder prize package includes: Courtside tickets to the Pistons game tonight, a customized “millionth fan” jersey, restaurant gift cards, free Kids Club memberships, a team-autographed Thunder basketball, autographed player pictures, a suite for a future home game, a free Rumble appearance to the event of their choice, a pair of KD2 Nike shoes and Nike Hyperized shoes and Thunder merchandise.
The Thunder reached the one million fan milestone in just 55 home games dating back to Opening Night 2008. Twenty-seven of those games have been sold out.
