Cowgirls Survive on the Road Against Vermont

Oklahoma State played its final non-conference road game in Burlington against the Catamounts.

BURLINGTON, Vermont -- Andrea Riley’s 14 second-half points boosted the Oklahoma State Cowgirls to a 68-63 win over Vermont.

OSU went into halftime tied 31-31 with the Catamounts, after Vermont’s bench players outscored the Cowgirls bench 12-5 and Oklahoma State’s nine first-half turnovers.

The Cowgirls only turned the ball over two times in the second half and dominated the paint 16-8 in the closing half of the ball game to clinch the five-point win.

Oklahoma State is back in action Dec. 14 against UC-Riverside.
