TULSA, Oklahoma – Oral Roberts freshman guard Kevi Luper was named Summit League Players of the Week Tuesday, becoming the first player in the conference’s history to earn the honor four consecutive times.
Luper averaged 25.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.0 steals and 2.7 assists in the Golden Eagles’ last three games against Southern Utah, Missouri-Kansas City and No. 17 Texas.
Luper recorded double-doubles in wins over USU and UMKC, including a school-record 12 steals against Southern Utah. She is leading the nation with 28.3 points per game and is second nationally with 5.3 steals per game.
Luper and the Golden Hurricanes will take on cross-town foe Tulsa at 2 p.m. Saturday.
