POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Larrissa Williams recorded a double-double, but it was not enough as the Tulsa women’s basketball team fell to 3-3 with a 69-52 loss to Marist.
Williams finished with 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Jermaine Kermis scored nine points and Tiffani Couisnard chipped in seven for the Golden Hurricane. Williams' double-double gave TU its third of the season and third in three games, all by different players.
While Williams had a good night, TU struggled as a whole, shooting 32 percent from the field. Tulsa enjoyed a 32-22 advantage in the paint, but was out-rebounded 47-42.
The Golden Hurricane will try to jump back above the .500 mark on Tuesday when they travel to Missouri State.
