STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley was named the Big 12 Player of the Week Monday, the second time this season she has been recognized with the award.
In the Cowgirls’ two games in the Junkanoo Jam over the weekend, Riley averaged 30 points, seven assists and three rebounds. She played all 50 minutes of OSU’s double-overtime loss to Michigan State in the tournament’s championship game Saturday.
In that game against the Spartans, Riley recorded her second career 40-point game and broke the previous tournament single-game record with 44 points. Her 61 total points in the tournament also broke a Junkanoo Jam record.
This marks the ninth time in Riley’s career she has been recognized with a weekly conference honor.
