Curt HillTULSA, Oklahoma -- The Oral Roberts men’s basketball team wrapped up its exhibition schedule with a 99-70 win over Harding University on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 27-9 lead in the first ten minutes of the contest and continued their hot shooting throughout the rest of the game, making 56 percent of their shots. Warren Niles finished 6-9 from the field and had a game-high 16 points. Kyron Stokes was right behind Niles with 14 points, while Kevin Ford and Dominique Morrison each added 12. All five ORU starters finished in double figures.
Defensively, the Golden Eagles limited the Bison to 40 percent shooting, including 27.8 percent in the second half.
ORU opens the regular season at Wake Forest on Friday at 7 p.m.
