STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- It was a late homecoming match-up for Oklahoma State hosting Missouri. The late kickoff didn’t hurt the Cowboys who topped the Tigers 33-17.

Missouri looked strong out of the gates, taking a 10-7 lead early in the second quarter.

Four minutes later Lucien Antoine intercepted Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown, which signaled the beginning of the end for Missouri.

Missouri would score again, but the Cowboys secondary would cause problems for Gabbert and the Tigers for the rest of the game.

Statistically, the Tigers were better than the Cowboys Saturday, out gaining OSU by more than 40 total yards offensively and 50 fewer penalty yards. But the Cowboys were able to take the ball away from Missouri four times, including three interceptions, which would be the biggest reason for the Cowboys domination of the Tigers.

Offensively the Cowboys were still expected to struggle, with Dez Bryant suspended and Kendall Hunter out for yet another game this year.

Sophomore wide receiver Hubert Anyiam was the man to step up for the Cowboys again. Anyiam had 10 receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown, more than half of the Cowboys receiving yards on the day.

Keith Toston continued to show why the coaching staff trusts him to fill in for the injured All-American at running back, accounting for 141 total yards and one score, to help the Cowboys cruise past the Missouri Tigers.

Oklahoma State takes on Baylor next at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 24 in Waco, Texas.
