DALLAS—Tulsa may be playing in Cotton Bowl Stadium sometime in the near future.
The 77-year-old venue will host the Dallas Football Classic on New Year's Day 2011, a bowl that features teams from the Big Ten and Conference USA.
The game replaces the Cotton Bowl, which is moving to the Cowboys' $1.15 billion stadium this season.
The Big Ten’s admission to the Dallas Football Classic coincides with the league’s decision to end a 14-year relationship with the Alamo Bowl after this season.
