Driver Taken To Jail Following Short Police Chase In Tulsa

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper had to bump a SUV with his patrol car in order to stop a driver involved in a chase early Thursday.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper had to bump a SUV with his patrol car in order to stop a 34-year-old driver involved in a chase early Thursday.

The trooper noticed Brandy Harrison facing the wrong direction at a stoplight around 1:15 a.m. Once he drove up to her vehicle, she sped off.

A few blocks later, the trooper had to hit the SUV's rear bumper in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 63rd and 33rd West Avenue.

Harrison was arrested for DUI and eluding a law enforcement officer and booked into the Tulsa County jail.
