Police Find Gunshot Victim In East Tulsa Parking Lot

TULSA, Oklahoma -- An east Tulsa shooting sent one man to the hospital Sunday.

Police were called to the 5000 block south 129th east avenue just after 3:00 p.m.

When police arrived, they found the victim inside a Ford Explorer with a gun shout wound to the head. Police believe a 45 semi-automatic hand gun was used.

Police say the victim is expected to survive. He was conscious and alert before being transported to the hospital.

Police say there were no witnesses to the shooting and they have no suspect information at this time.
