LEFLORE COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A 13-year-old Whitesboro boy was killed early Friday morning after being ejected from a car driven by a 15-year-old boy. The accident took place at 2:40 a.m. on a county road outside Whitesboro in LeFlore County.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Orlando Perez said in his report that alcohol use was involved in the accident.

Brandon E. Brown, 15, was driving 2000 Mercury northbound on the county road when the car went off the roadway to the right, the report states. Brown overcorrected, and the car ran off the left side of the roadway, flipping once and coming to rest on its wheels.

Dalton W. Adams, 13, of Whitesboro was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers, 13-year-old Bronco Harjo of Talihina and 7-year-old Kadin L. Davis of Muse were treated and released for minor injuries.

The driver was uninjured.

Troopers say Brown and Harjo were wearing seat belts; the other boys were not. The cause of the accident and the condition of the driver are both listed as driving under the influence of alcohol.
