Two Mobile Homes Burn To The Ground Near Sapulpa

SAPULPA, Oklahoma -- Investigators for the Sapulpa Fire Department are looking for a cause of a fire that destroyed two mobile homes north and west of their community early Tuesday morning.

Both mobile homes were located within 10 feet of each other.

The fire broke out shortly before 1 a.m. in the homes located near West 81st Street and South 161st West Avenue.

By the time firefighters arrived, it was too late to save the structures.

No one was hurt and it is not clear how the fire started.

Neighbors told firefighters the home's residents had not been seen since the weekend.
