BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- Funding has forced Bartlesville Public Schools to close one of its elementary school.
The Bartlesville Public School Board voted unanimously Thursday night to shut down Oak Park Elementary, located on the northwest part of town.
The board postponed a decision after a meeting last month.
The district's budget will be down $2.5 million next year. Bartlesville Schools say closing the school could save the district about $600,000.
