Wagoner County Inmate Walks Away From Work Site

WAGONER, Oklahoma -- Wagoner County authorities are looking for an escaped inmate.

Sheriff Deputies say 30-year-old Joseph Payne walked away from work detail Saturday. Payne was in jail for manufacturing meth.

Payne was wearing either a black and white jumpsuit or gray inmate uniform at the time he escaped, deputies say.

He is described as a white male around 6-feet and 185 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes with a shaved head.
