TULSA COUNTY -- Firefighters worked to get an oil tank fire in north Tulsa County under control Wednesday afternoon.

Heavy black smoke could be seen from miles away.   SkyNews6 caught flames enveloping a pickup truck.

EMSA crews are on scene, but EMSA spokesperson Chris Stevens said no one was injured in the fire.

EMSA originally said three workers were on the scene at the time of the explosion, but later said only one worker was on the scene.  EMSA said the man had just stepped away when the explosion happened and was not injured.

Officials said the man was using a portable device to mix up the oil in the tanks when one of the hoses to the tanks overheated and exploded.
