Ozone Health Advisory Issued For Tulsa County

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Department Environmental Quality issued a health advisory for Tulsa County Tuesday, April 12, 2011.

Air quality monitors in the area picked up concentrations of ozone considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.

The agency recommends older individuals, young children and those with asthma avoid prolonged outdoor exposure.

Smoke from grass fires and other sources are not helping with air quality.
