TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa Police K-9 officer was instrumental in nabbing a burglary suspect inside a home early Tuesday morning.
Shortly after midnight, officers were sent to a home in the 400 block of West 7th Street.
The homeowner told officers she was awakened by her dogs barking. She went downstairs to investigate and saw a man standing outside the home's back door.
When she returned to the bedroom to get her husband, they heard glass breaking. Both ran out the front door and called police.
Tulsa Police say K-9 officer Cado entered the home and apprehended 28-year-old Bryan Brady in the couple's upstairs bedroom.
Brady was treated by EMSA paramedics for minor dog bites before heading to a Tulsa hospital.
After he was treated, Brady was taken to the Tulsa County jail on a first degree burglary complaint.
