BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- You can have a beautiful garden and help out a good cause at A New Leaf's annual GardenFest set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 16.

A New Leaf, Inc. is a greenhouse and nursery serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Children and adults from the greater Tulsa area find horticulture therapy and employment at A New Leaf, located at 2306 S. First Place in Broken Arrow. GardenFest is free to the public and features craft and vendor booths with the latest garden tools and supplies. A wide selection of bedding plants, bushes, herbs and tomato plants can be purchased.

"Many of them were grown with a special dose of love in A New Leaf's nursery," said Mary Ogle of A New Leaf, Inc.

Master Gardeners will be on site to provide free consultation and answer gardening questions.

For the first time, something special has been added with the VIP Garden Party Friday, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 15.  The party includes live music, beer and wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres and a 15 percent discount on all purchases.
