TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma – A man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Tulsa last weekend was arrested Friday night, Tulsa County deputies said.
C.C. Johnson, 21, is charged with one count of first degree murder and three counts of shooting with intent to kill in the shooting that happened Sunday morning March, 27, 2011.
Police said three men opened fire on a car in east Tulsa, killing Bryshell Downing.
Demarco Page, 19, was arrested hours after the shooting. He is suspected of driving the car the shots were fired from.
Downing's family believes she was killed in retaliation for another deadly shooting that happened in February. They say she was a witness to the murder that occurred at the Towne Square Apartments on February 25, 2011.
According to the Tulsa County Jail website, Johnson was arrested by the Tulsa County Sheriff's office. Details of his arrest are unknown at this time.
Johnson is being held on $1.25 million bond.
