TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police said they made two arrests among a rash of armed robberies targeting Tulsa businesses.
Police say 19-year-old Julien Lee Hale and 20-year-old Sedrick Isaiah Campbell were stopped and arrested Thursday after an aborted robbery attempt.
Police are looking for a third suspect, 34-year-old Arthur Jermaine Thomas, who is suspected in up to 15 robberies.
Police made the arrests after setting up surveillance at Thomas' home. Police say they followed Hale and Campbell leaving the residence as they went to four businesses and attempted to rob two of the locations before scrubbing their plans.
Police later arrested the two suspects and found a semi-automatic handgun and an air pistol in the vehicle.
Police say the two admitted to trying to rob an Arby's and an Advanced Auto Parts store that day.
Both suspects face Attempted Armed Robbery charges.
If you have any information on whereabouts of the third suspect you are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
