CATOOSA. Oklahoma -- "Pawn Stars" is coming to Tulsa in May. Three of the History Channel show's pawn shop dealers will be at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino May 21st to purchase items for their shop in Las Vegas.

Rick and Corey Harrison and Austin "Chumlee" Russell will represent the popular reality show in the Sooner state. The event is free and open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. inside the Sequoyah Grand Ballroom.

"The show is very popular partially because of the highly skilled staff and the respect shown for customers," said Jon Davidson, senior director of hospitality services for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

"This will be a fun event that's open to the public, so even if you don't have something you want to sell, you can come and watch these guys in action."

The crew of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop became stars when their reality show debuted on the History Channel in July 2009. The show is now in its fourth season.

Rick Harrison helped his father, Richard, open Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in 1988. Trained in the business since he was 13, Rick manages the business, which includes assisting the more than 1,000 customers a day while being the middleman between his father and son, Corey.

Corey began working for his father and grandfather at the age of 9, and one day he hopes to take over the family business. As a friend of Corey's since childhood, Russell has been hanging around the shop since he was a kid and is now an employee of Gold & Silver Pawn.

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend. Weapons and automobiles are prohibited from being purchased by Gold & Silver Pawn.
