Tulsa's EcoFest Promotes Going Green

TULSA, Oklahoma – EcoFest at Tulsa Community College's northeast campus Saturday promoted saving the planet.

Dozens of green and eco friendly ideas were on display from alternative energy to green cooking.

Organizers say there are lots of changes you can make that are good for you and good for our planet.

"Healthy living, sustainable living and trying to save some money, all at the same time," said John Cahre, TCC horticulture coordinator.

Participants snacked on local produce, learned about new gardening techniques and they could even take home a new tree to plant.
