TULSA, Oklahoma -- Deputy Stacie Holloway is the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Deputy of the Year. The honor is presented annually by the Townwest and Southside Sertoma Clubs.
Holloway was honored for performing her job duties with exceptional service as nominated by her peers. She is assigned to the Operations Division, Civil Unit. She serves civil papers throughout Tulsa County to people who frequently are trying to avoid detection, according to a release by the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
She also coordinates Community Policing duties for the Sheriff's Office and volunteers with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America around Tulsa County.
Holloway has worked as a substitute teacher educating students on drug awareness, the dangers of bullying – and math. She donates many hours to the Down Syndrome Society and the Special Olympics of Oklahoma.
