Thief Uses Threatening Note To Rob Tulsa Bank

Tulsa Police are looking for a robber who held up a bank branch near 71st and Memorial.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for a robber who held up a bank near 71st and Memorial.

Shortly after noon on Thursday, a black male entered the IBC Bank branch in the 8200 block of East 71st Street and handed a teller a note that threatened to kill the employee if the teller did not give him money.

Tulsa Police say no weapon was seen and no one was injured. 

After getting the money, the robber ran out the door. He is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s who is 6' to 6'2" tall. He has a shaved head and is clean shaven. He was wearing sunglasses, a blue jacket and blue jeans.
