'Man vs. Food' Takes On Tulsa Restaurant

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A TV host famous for fighting food and winning took on Oklahoma's own Wednesday.

Adam Richman was in Tulsa Wednesday shooting an episode of his Travel Channel show Man vs. Food.

Richman and crew were at Elote, a downtown restaurant famous for its puffy tacos. Richman talked to Trent Veppert, a Tulsan who holds the current title for eating 22 puffy tacos in one sitting.

Trent's friend Shane came to the restaurant to check out the excitement.

"It's cool that someone, or that some locals here are driving that kind of attention here nationally to Tulsa," Fernandez said.
