BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- A Broken Arrow woman who has been taking care of an injured kangaroo named Irwin may have to give him up.
A Broken Arrow city code prohibits citizens from owning wild and exotic animals.
Christie Carr adopted the one-year-old kangaroo from a facility she volunteered at. Irwin broke his neck in an accident a few months ago and Carr has been nursing the kangaroo back to health in her Broken Arrow home.
