TULSA, Oklahoma -- Three women are in the Tulsa County jail following their arrest Monday afternoon by Tulsa Police on complaints of grand larceny.

Tulsa Police arrested the trio -- 18-year-old Demica Collins, 18-year-old Markevia Williams and 20-year-old Shanecqua Lewis -- after officers found more than $500 in stolen merchandise in their vehicle.

Officers stopped the vehicle at 5:30 p.m. Monday after it had left Carter's Baby Clothing Store at 8518 East 71st Street.

Police say some of the merchandise found in the vehicle came from the Justice for Girls store at Woodland Hills Mall.

Police believe the three women are connected to a number of larcenies at both Woodland Hills and Promenade malls.

Police say Collins was wanted on three city misdemeanor warrants and Williams was wanted on a state warrant.
