Man Injured In Rig Explosion Near Dacoma

DACOMA, Oklahoma -- An Oklahoma oil rig exploded out near Dacoma in Woods County injuring one man.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what triggered the explosion Saturday afternoon.

But, preliminary reports suggest the rig might have hit a gas pocket.

There's no word on how badly the man was hurt or where he was from.

The Corporation Commission says Tulsa-based Eagle Energy operates that rig.
