Police: Argument Over Man Lands Tulsa Woman In Jail

TULSA, Oklahoma – A Tulsa woman was arrested Thursday morning after police said she assaulted her sister.

It happened in the 1200 block of West 11th Street around 11:30 p.m.

Officers arrived to find the victim, Augustine Severs, had suffered several injuries to her head and back. She was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Officers arrested her sister, 38-year-old Rachel Panther, at a nearby bar. Panther was booked into the Tulsa County jail on one complaint of domestic assault and battery and one complaint of public intoxication.

Police said the two sisters were fighting over a man.
