Waterline Work To Close Part Of Tulsa Street

TULSA, Oklahoma – More orange barrels are going up in Tulsa.

According to city officials, two lanes of 15th street between Denver Avenue and Carson Avenue will be closed starting Monday, March 7, 2011, so crews can install a waterline.

City officials said the lanes will be closed for one week. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will remain open.

The work is part of a 1.6 million street repair project on several non-arterial Tulsa streets. Completion of the entire project is scheduled for July 2011.
