Interim Tulsa City Auditor Named

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett has named Clift Richards as the city's interim City Auditor.

The announcement happened Tuesday afternoon at Tulsa's city hall. 

Clift Richards, a Certified Public Accountant takes over for Preston Doerflinger, who resigned in January to become state finance director for Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin.

Doerflinger was elected to the job of city auditor in 2009 and had less than a year to go in his term. Richards will serve the remainder of the term which ends in December.
