TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police say they've arrested a 20-year-old man following a string of robberies late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning on the east side of town.
The first robbery occurred at 9 p.m. at the Waffle House at 11th and 101st East Avenue.
Police say a white male, who they identified as James Matlock, came in with a note demanding money. He ran off after getting cash.
They say Matlock robbed the Sonic restaurant down the street at 11th and Garnett about an hour later.
According to police he implied he had a weapon and again ran off with the cash.
Officers say Matlock then hit the QuikTrip at 13th and Garnett around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. This time, they say he was able to get away with cash and cigarettes.
No one was hurt in any of the robberies.
Detectives credit hard work by patrol officers with tracking Matlock to a nearby Tulsa motel and arresting him.
